Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Thursday slammed what he says are Barisan Nasional’s dirty tricks in the lead up to the Tanjung Piai by-election. <br /><br />The Bersatu chairman however expressed confidence in the voters, saying they are smart and will not fall for such tricks.<br /><br />Dr Mahathir was met by reporters after having breakfast with some 200 people at Warung 800 in Pekan Nanas.<br /><br />The premier, who rarely campaigns in by-elections, spent two days in the constituency in a bid to keep Pakatan Harapan’s hopes alive following reports that the coalition is trailing behind the Opposition.
