Meanwhile, President Moon Jae-in will be meeting at the Blue House Friday afternoon...with U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley.<br />Also joining the talks will be South Korea's National Security Advisor Chung Eui-yong.<br />They will likely discuss issues regarding their alliance, including defense-cost sharing for American troops stationed here, as well as joint military exercises.<br />But topping the agenda... is expected to be Seoul's military pact with Tokyo, GSOMIA, which is due to expire next Saturday.<br />Washington has been repeating the importance of extending GSOMIA.<br />Esper also told the press today that it's a critical agreement that must be maintained to "deal," in his words, with North Korea and China.<br />President Moon will likely reiterate why Seoul is unable to reverse its decision to end the military pact without a change in Japan's attitude on historical and trade issues.<br />
