This is the moment two brave dogs courageously stood up to a huge monitor lizard in a canal in Thailand.<br /><br />Kanawat Panpadit was woken by the dogs' bark while he was asleep in Samut Prakan, central Thailand on Wednesday (November 6) morning. <br /><br />He went to his balcony and saw a huge monitor lizard in the canal behind his apartment while the two pooches squared up to it. <br /><br />Footage shows the reptile using its tail to whip the water to scare the dogs but it was ineffective as the dogs continued to bark and ventured closer. <br /><br />Kanawat said the dogs were so bold to approach to the monitor lizard. He said: "These two dogs were so bold that they did not show fear but barked constantly at the very huge monitor lizard."
