Jacob deGrom and Justin Verlander <br />Win Their Second Cy Young Awards.<br />The Mets ace won the NL Cy Young <br />for the second straight year.<br />while the Astros star won the AL Cy Young for the first time since 2011.<br />DeGrom is the 11th pitcher to win <br />the award in consecutive seasons.<br />He received 29 first-place votes, the same <br />number received in last year's voting.<br />DeGrom had just 11 wins, but he finished 7-1 with <br />a 1.44 ERA after the All-Star break.<br />Verlander received 17 first-place votes, just four <br />more than his Houston teammate, Gerrit Cole.<br />It marks the first time in history that teammates have finished first and second in the AL Cy Young voting.<br />Verlander led MLB with 21 wins, while his 2.58 ERA and 300 strikeouts were second in the league behind Cole
