'Beverly Hills Cop 4' <br />to Be Made by Netflix .<br />According to 'The Hollywood Reporter,' the project will be made thanks to a deal that Netflix inked with Paramount.<br />Eddie Murphy will return as street-smart police detective Axel Foley.<br />Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who worked on the first two movies, will also return.<br />The 'Beverly Hills Cop' franchise, <br />which consists of three films, has <br />earned over $735 million worldwide.<br />'Beverly Hills Cop III' <br />was released in 1994.<br />The story centers on Foley, a Detroit cop who re-locates to California to <br />solve a friend's murder.<br />'Beverly Hills Cop 4' is the latest collaboration between <br />Netflix and Murphy.<br />Murphy is also in negotiations <br />with Netflix for a return to the <br />stand-up comedy stage.
