Elon Musk Thinks AI Brain Chips <br />Could ‘Solve’ Autism and Schizophrenia.<br />In a recent interview on the ‘Artificial<br />Intelligence’ podcast, Musk spoke<br />about the future plans for his neural-<br />technology company, Neuralink.<br />According to Musk, Neuralink’s brain-implanted<br />AI chip will one day solve “brain-related diseases.”.<br />“[It] could be anything from, like, autism, schizophrenia,<br />memory loss — like, everyone experiences memory<br />loss at certain points in age ...”<br />Elon Musk, to ‘Artificial Intelligence’.<br />It is unclear what Musk meant since autism and schizophrenia <br />are not diseases but rather developmental disorders. .<br />"Autism is not an illness or disease and<br />cannot be 'cured.'
