South Korea and Japan held working-level diplomatic talks today in Tokyo,... and discussed their military intelligence-sharing pact as well as the issue of Japan's wartime forced labor.<br />The director-general for Asian and Pacific affairs at Seoul's foreign ministry Kim Jung-han, and his Japanese counterpart, Shigeki Takizaki met for the first time in a month.<br />The two talked for more than two hours, and reconfirmed each other's stances, but agreed that talks must go on to resolve tensions between their nations.<br />Kim reportedly urged Japan to withdraw its export controls, and Japan urged Korea to wisely respond regarding Seoul's decision to terminate GSOMIA which expires next week.<br />
