In a shocking incident, a passenger was brutally assaulted by a handyman of a traveller bus (AS 07C 8732) near National Highway 15 at Nauboisha in Lakhimpur District on Thursday afternoon.<br />As per reports, the passenger was attacked for not being able to pay his travel fare and was thrown out of the vehicle. <br />Later, public thrashed the handyman identified as Papumoni Hazarika and handed him over to the Nauboisha police. <br />On the other hand, the injured passenger was shifted to a nearby hospital under critical condition.<br />Further investigation is on.<br />
