Bill Murray and Original ‘Ghostbusters’<br />Crew to Return in 2020 Sequel.<br />During a recent interview on ‘The Greg Hill Show,’<br />Murray’s former co-star, Dan Aykroyd, confirmed<br />the return of the original ‘Ghostbusters’ crew.<br />Akyroyd will reportedly be joined by Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts in the 2020 film.<br />“We’ve shot our part … it was really exciting working on this<br />new idea and new take on the story which Jason [Reitman],<br />who’s a really incredible and fine filmmaker, came up with."<br />- Dan Aykroyd, to ‘The Greg Hill Show’.<br />Harold Ramis, who died of an<br />autoimmune disease in 2014, is<br />also expected to be recognized<br />during the film “in some way.”.<br />According to Akyroyd, the ‘Ghostbusters 2020'<br />sequel successfully “hands the legacy off”<br />to the new generation of actors. .<br />"[The script] takes the real DNA from the first two movies<br />and transfers that directly to the next generation—it hands<br />the legacy off to a new generation of stars ...”<br />- Dan Aykroyd, to ‘The Greg Hill Show’.<br />‘Ghostbusters 2020’ is set<br />to debut on July 10, 2020.
