'Billboard' Ranks Top Artists of All Time.<br />In celebration of its 125th anniversary, the 'Billboard' <br />charts team ranked its top artists.<br />The list was compiled by using a formula that <br />incorporated the 'Billboard' Hot 100 songs chart <br />and the 'Billboard' 200 albums chart.<br />1. The Beatles<br />The Beatles have tallied the most No. 1 hits <br />with 20 and the most No. 1 albums with 19.<br />2. The Rolling Stones<br />The Rolling Stones have nine No. 1 <br />albums and eight No. 1 singles.<br />3. Elton John<br />Elton John has topped the Hot 100 nine times and the 'Billboard' 200 seven times.<br />4. Mariah Carey<br />Mariah Carey has 18 No. 1 singles, the most <br />by a solo artist, along with six No. 1 albums.<br />5. Madonna <br />Madonna has topped the singles chart <br />12 times and has nine No. 1 albums.<br />Rounding out the top ten artists of all time were <br />Barbra Streisand at No. 6, Michael Jackson at No. 7, .<br />Taylor Swift at No. 8, Stevie Wonder <br />at No. 9 and Chicago at No. 10
