A medical shopkeeper in east India received an unusual patient when an injured monkey came to his shop to get first aid on November 16. <br /><br />Anajum Ajim, who runs a medical shop in Mallapur, Birbhum district in West Bengal, found a monkey that had climbed off an auto-rickshaw and jumped on his counter, and reportedly "looking in pain."<br /><br />Ajim commented: "I gave him one pain killer with water, he drunk three glasses of water. After giving him medicine we put some ointment on the monkey's wound on shoulder, leg and neck.<br /><br />"After taking medicine monkey rested there at table put outside of medical store for an hour. After resting he jumped on an auto [rickshaw] and left."<br /><br />Monirul Islam, who caught this video on his mobile, commented: "I was there at shop to buy some medicine, it was quite interesting to see a monkey coming for his treatment."
