Heroic Chinese firefighters rescued a mother and her son who were trapped in a frozen lake.<br /><br />In the video, shot in the city of Qiqihar in Heilongjiang Province last Sunday (November 17), a fireman tied to a rope and lying on a rescue stretcher approached the boy and grabbed him.<br /><br />Two other firefighters lying behind him on the ice then pulled both the rescue stretcher and the rope to bring the boy back to safety.<br /><br />After the boy was rescued, police officers carried him away and the firefighters used the same technique to rescue the mum.<br /><br />According to reports, the mum and her son were sent to hospital and neither of them were injured.
