The Korean Railway Workers' Union will go on strike starting at 9 A.M. tomorrow, which will be their first indefinite strike in three years.<br />The announcement came after KORAIL workers and management again failed to reach a compromise on wages and employee numbers yesterday.<br />South Korea's transport ministry said it will send substitute workers to operate KORAIL's high-speed KTX and commuter trains, but disruption to passenger and freight train services are expected.<br />The operation rate for the KTX bullet trains is expected to fall to 69 percent, while commuter trains will be at 60 percent and freight trains at 30 percent.<br />
