This Indian man has built his own costume inspired by the character "Iron Man" complete with full metal jacket plating and weapons.

Footage from November 18 shows Shyam Chaurasia from Varanasi testing out his deadly homemade costume.

Chaurasia is head of Research and Development at a private university in Varanasi.

He says that he designed this jacket for Indian soldiers to fight terrorists.

This jacket, which is made of metal, is no ordinary jacket.

Metal guns attached to the jacket can be used remotely. Chaurasia says the jacket can also be operated via the internet from a room using GPS. Sensors are also used to alert soldiers when they are compromised from behind.

This suit can attack in 360 degrees with guns attached to the hands, chest and back.

Chaurasia also explained that this is a prototype model and he has written to the prime minister's office and defence ministry to test his model.
