Two Jail Workers Charged in<br />Connection to Jeffrey Epstein’s Death.<br />According to a recent report by the ‘New York Times,’<br />two federal workers are expected to be arrested and<br />charged for their part in Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide. .<br />The Bureau of Prisons employees who<br />were responsible for monitoring Epstein<br />on the day of his death, Aug. 10, reportedly<br />failed to perform the proper safety checks. .<br />Epstein, who was awaiting trial on sex-trafficking<br />charges, was being held in a highly monitored<br />section of the Metropolitan Correctional Center.<br />Rather than check on Epstein every half-hour as they were<br />instructed, the two unidentified men fell asleep for hours. .<br />They then attempted to falsify records<br />in order to cover up their indiscretion. .<br />According to the Associated Press, both corrections officers<br />were initially offered plea deals but chose to turn them down. .<br />They will now reportedly appear in the United States<br />District Court in Manhattan on Nov. 19 to face their charges.
