삼성TV '압도적 세계 1위'…글로벌 점유율 2분기째 30% 돌파<br /><br />TVs manufactured by Samsung Electronics have accounted for more than 30 percent of the global TV market for two straight quarters now.<br />Market research firm IHS Markit reported Wednesday that, by country, China overtook South Korea for the top spot for shipments with over 33 percent in the third quarter.<br />However, due to their low retail price, Chinese TVs only accounted for about half of Korean TVs in terms of sales.<br />Samsung Electronics maintained its top position in the global market thanks to strong sales of its premium QLED TVs and ultra-large screen TVs. <br />
