This was the moment a van driver on the M53 in Cheshire purposefully swerves into another driver after failing to get in the right-hand lane on Wednesday (November 20).<br /><br />The filmer explained: "The white van driver joined the M53 motorway from the Junction 5 slip road and indicates to join the motorway. <br /><br />"In a single manoeuvre and a single indication, the white van moves from the slip-road to lane one and continues to indicate - which could be interpreted as a 'forgotten' signal from joining the motorway; or an intention so moves from lane one to two.<br /><br />"The white van continues to move from lane one to two in what does not appear to be a large enough gap. <br /><br />"The white van does not wait for space but instead begins the manoeuvre. <br /><br />"The black car - a Vauxhall Corsa - brakes and swerves to avoid a collision in lane two and regains position in front of the van, which moves back to lane one.<br /><br />"A short moment later, after joining the car side-by-side, the white van driver appears to deliberately ram the car, forcing it towards the central reservation barrier.<br /><br />"After the collision, the white van appears to quickly leave the motorway at Junction Six and the black car follows. <br /><br />"The police have been informed and are investigating."
