Massachusetts Set to Pass <br />Groundbreaking Vaping and Tobacco Bill.<br />Under the legislation, the sale of <br />flavored vaping products would be <br />prohibited starting in June next year.<br />Menthol cigarettes would <br />also be included the ban.<br />It would make Massachusetts the first state in the nation to prohibit the sale of all flavored tobacco products, Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids president <br />Matthew Myers, via Associated Press.<br />Besides the sales ban, vaping items <br />will see a 75 percent excise tax.<br />Currently, the legislation has passed Massachusetts' House and Senate.<br />It comes as illnesses and deaths related <br />to vaping continue to rise in the U.S.<br />To become official, the bill needs the signature of GOP Governor Charlie Baker.<br />Just a couple months ago, <br />Baker temporarily banned <br />vaping items from being sold.<br />He also issued a <br />public health emergency <br />in Massachusetts
