Police in north India had to charge in to disperse a fighting mob after clashes broke out during a Qawwali (a form of Sufi Islamic devotional music) event. <br /><br />According to reports, the incident took place on November 18 in Mohalla Kaithwar region in Haridwar city, Uttarakhand, with footage showing people using chairs and fists to beat each other. <br /><br />According to the reports, the fight broke out over disappointment with the seating and accommodation arrangements at the event. <br /><br />The situation was resolved after police personnel charged in with batons. <br /><br />Police officials have informed that they are investigating the matter while no severe injuries have been reported.
