White House Honors Military Dog Who Assisted With <br />Killing ISIS Leader.<br />The canine, whose name is Conan, helped <br />with an operation that ended with the <br />death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.<br />President Trump, First Lady <br />Melania Trump and Vice President <br />Pence attended the event <br />in the Rose Garden.<br />The mission left Conan injured, <br />but he is now fully healed.<br />The dog is a Belgian Malinois, which is similar to a German Shepherd. .<br />Belgian Malinois are used <br />by the Secret Service to guard <br />the grounds of the White House.<br />They're kind of the first line of defense.
