A group of scuba divers explored the eerie Salem Express shipwreck in Egypt's Red Sea where much of the passengers' belongings still remain intact on the vessel's floor.<br /><br />Filmed on June 18, the underwater explorers float through the ship that sunk in 1991 carrying hundreds of passengers.<br /><br />Locals believe the shipwreck is a tomb and the site shouldn't be disturbed to show respect for the victims.<br /><br />The filmer told Newsflare: "Clothes and personal belongings of the doomed travellers still lay on the ground."<br /><br />The Salem Express sank after colliding with a coral reef of the Egyptian coast in December 1991.
