Former finance minister Tun Dr Daim Zainuddin believes that poverty in Malaysia can be eradicated, but the people must first see themselves as “Malaysians first.”<br /><br />He was speaking at the “Poverty in Malaysia: Its Reality and Perception” forum by the Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute (Asli) at Sunway University on Wednesday.
