This is the moment a wild elephant trespassed into an army camp and headed straight into the canteen in search of food in northeastern India.<br /><br />The incident took place earlier today (November 27) at Narangi army camp in Guwahati, Assam.<br /><br />Footage shows show the tusker entering the army canteen and damaging the chairs and tables kept in the dining area.<br /><br />A worker lights a piece of wood then chases the jumbo out of the building.<br /> <br />This is not the first incident when an elephant has raided the camp, in the past, there have been several such incursions.<br /><br />The local government ruled to remove wire fencing in and around the elephant corridors, the army authorities said they were expecting a spike in such intrusions.
