Steve Bullock Pulls Plug on <br />2020 Presidential Campaign.<br />The Montana Democrat is the <br />third governor to exit the race.<br />While there were many obstacles we could not have anticipated when entering this race, it has become clear that in this moment, I won't be able to break through to the top tier of this still-crowded field <br />of candidates, Steve Bullock, via statement.<br />The 53-year-old joined a <br />very crowded field for the <br />nomination back in May this year.<br />Since then, he struggled to <br />gain traction in national polls.<br />He also qualified for only <br />one presidential debate, <br />which was in July.<br />Bullock served two terms as Montana governor and thus <br />cannot seek the position again.<br />He has stated that he will not run <br />for senator next year against Republican Steve Daines.<br />A spokeswoman for Bullock says he will focus <br />on helping Democrats win elections in <br />Montana and nationwide
