Dozens of protesters occupied department store Macy's in New York City on Tuesday (December 3) as part of a protest to demand better access to transport for disabled people. <br /><br />The protest, which was organized by People's Power Assembly, started in Herald Square, marched through Macy's, and into Penn Station demanding of the MTA fair treatment for the disabled.<br /><br />Protesters carried signs reading "disabled lives matter" and "disabled not disposable".<br /><br />December 3 is the annual observance of the International Day of Disabled Persons.
