A pipeline explosion in west Lagos has caused multiple fires in Ipaja area of the city this morning (December 5).<br /><br />Footage shows residents of the Idowu-Egba Estate stuck after fire consumes a footbridge and surrounding area.<br /><br />It has been widely suggested on social media that the explosion was caused by vandalism.<br /><br />The blast sent huge clouds of black smoke into the skies.
