People in a car have been rescued after the vehicle got stuck in a raging river on its way to deliver aid to the victims of the recent Typhoon Kammuri in the Philippines.<br /><br />The vehicle was trying to cross the swollen stretch of water in the town of Nakar in Quezon province but suffered engine problems on December 4. <br /><br />Mountaineers Bimboy Soque and his friends had planned to push through with their outreach program despite the strong wind and rain from the typhoon.<br /><br />The group had brought food donations for indigenous peoples in Nakar using their vehicles. But unfortunately, one of the cars broke down due to bad weather.<br /><br />Footage shows a pick-up truck owned by one of the volunteers pulling the broken down car across the river.<br /><br />The team was able to return home safely later in the evening on that day.
