George Zimmerman Sues Family <br />of Trayvon Martin for $100 Million.<br />Zimmerman is also suing <br />the Martin family attorney, <br />Ben Crump, as well as others.<br />The former neighborhood <br />watch volunteer claims he's been <br />victimized since he shot and <br />killed Trayvon Martin in 2012.<br />Zimmerman's lawyer claims that a book <br />published by Crump in October constitutes <br />defamation because it implicates Zimmerman <br />in the "genocide of colored people.".<br />Crump has called the lawsuit <br />"unfounded and reckless," saying <br />it's "a shameless attempt to profit <br />off the lives and grief of others." .<br />This plaintiff continues to display a callous disregard for everyone but himself, re-victimizing individuals whose lives were shattered by his own misguided actions, Ben Crump, Attorney for the Martin Family, via 'USA Today'.<br />Zimmerman was acquitted <br />of the murder of 17-year-old <br />Trayvon. The killing occurred in <br />a Central Florida neighborhood.<br />Zimmerman shot the unarmed <br />teenager following a confrontation. His claim of <br />self-defense was found credible by a Florida jury.<br />Zimmerman has become increasingly <br />controversial.
