Forest department officials haul out antelope from 60-foot step-well in central India

Forest department officials hauled out a lost antelope that fell into a 60-foot-deep step-well in central India.<br /><br />The incident took place on November 30 in rural Shivpuri district, Madhya Pradesh.<br /><br />According to reports, the nilgai fell down inside the well located near the Kali Mata temple at around 8:00 am.<br /><br />Locals soon rushed to the spot and tried to pull out the antelope, however after failing to pull it out, the forest department was informed.<br /><br />The team used ropes and a team at the well's surface to lift the nilgai out. <br /><br />The antelope was administered medical aid as it sustained injuries during the fall. <br /><br />Later, it was released into the Madhav National Park.
