Footage shows the extent of damage typhoon Kammuri has left in the northeastern part of the Philippines.<br /><br />The video was taken in Northern Samar on December 4. The province is one of the hardest-hit areas by the typhoon.<br /><br />Typhoon victims are now finally returning to their homes after taking refuge for days at evacuation centers. They are being met with scenes of destruction - with many having lost their homes. <br /><br />Kammuri, a rare December typhoon, is the strongest to have hit the country this year. The death toll from Typhoon Kammuri rose to at least 17 people, officials said.
