Shocking footage shows how thick smoke from bushfires now blankets Sydney causing chaos in the city.<br /><br />Officer worker Pedro Cuccovillo recorded what it looks outside his building windows today (December 10). <br /><br />He is heard saying in the background: "This is how bad the Sydney smoke is right now. That's what you see outside the window."<br /><br />The video then shows a hazy bird's eye view of the city shrouded in smoke. He said that the smoke has been setting off the fire alarms in their building.<br /><br />The low visibility has also affected the public transport system. Buses have limited their journeys, while ferry and boat rides were canceled.<br /><br />Authorities said that the current air pollution brought by the bush fires has been the longest and most widespread they had on record.
