Animal rescuers saved a civet cat from drowning after it accidentally fell inside a well in the east Indian state of Odisha.<br /><br />The rescue operation was carried out in the Telengapentha area of Cuttack district on December 9.<br /><br />Visuals show one of the rescuers enter the well.<br /><br />After spotting the animal, the rescuer asks the others for a cage and tries to get hold of the animal.<br /><br />Later, he puts the animal inside the small cage and locks the gate.<br /><br />In another shot, the rescuers are shown releasing the animal back into the wild.<br /><br />According to reports, the civet was found inside the well on December 8.<br /><br />Soon after spotting it, locals tried to pull it out.<br /><br />However, they failed and informed the animal rescue team who carried out the operation the following day.<br /><br />The rescue mission lasted an hour, reports said.
