The search and rescue effort by authorities on White Island in New Zealand following a volcano eruption on Monday have been hampered by increasing tremors that are affecting the island.<br /><br />The sudden eruption and resulting explosion claimed the lives of six people including one Malaysian. Another eight are missing and hopes of finding them alive are fading.
