Malaysia is considering selling stakes in energy giant Petronas to states where the company’s oil and gas fields are located, said Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on Tuesday.<br /><br />Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng told reporters today that the move should be viewed in line with the Malaysia Agreement 1963.<br /><br />Sarawak and neighboring Sabah have Malaysia’s most prolific oil and gas reserves in their waters in the South China Sea.
