An electric car was driven along a road for around 10-miles with its bonnet up in northern China.<br /><br />The CCTV video was shot in the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province on December 1.<br /><br />According to reports, the driver attempted to charge the car which meant they couldn't close the bonnet properly.<br /><br />The driver was fined 200 yuan (£22) by the police, reports said.
