Harvey Weinstein Accusers Reach <br />$25 Million Settlement.<br />Weinstein was arrested in May 2018 <br />on charges of "Rape, Criminal Sex Act, <br />Sex Abuse and Sexual Misconduct for <br />incidents involving two separate women." .<br />He was released on bail <br />and pleaded not guilty to the charges.<br />‘The New York Times’ reported Wednesday <br />that the new deal “would not require the Hollywood <br />producer to admit wrongdoing or pay anything <br />to his accusers himself.”.<br />The deal will reportedly bring an <br />end to "nearly every such lawsuit <br />against him" and his now-bankrupt <br />Weinstein Company.<br />His trial is set <br />for Jan. 6, 2020
