A boy's quick-thinking saved him from death as a train passed over him in the western Indian state of Maharashtra.<br /><br />The incident took place on 10 December in Wadsa railway station located in the state's Gadchiroli district.<br /><br />Video showed the boy lying flat in the centre of the train track as a freight train passes over him. <br /><br />People on the platform watch in horror as the incident unfolded, before breathing a sigh of relief when the train passed by. The young man then got up and moved off the tracks. <br /><br />According to reports, he was crossing the railway tracks when he saw the high-speed train approaching. He then lay down to avoid being hit.
