This was the moment a learner driver in Sheopur City drove their car into a pond after pressing the accelerator pedal rather than the brake on Saturday (December 14).<br /><br />Footage shows the submerged vehicle in the water while crowds gather to watch the car being retrieved by a digger.<br /><br />It was reported the driver saw a hut while driving on the road and proceeded to apply the accelerator rather than the brake and subsequently plunged into the drink.<br /><br />It was reported all three people in the car were able to escape through the window towards safety.
