Bengaluru, Dec 19: Security has been beefed up across Karnataka, as some organisations (Left parties and Muslim organizations) called for a ‘bandh’ in the state to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 and National Register of Citizens (NRC). <br /><br />Section 144 has been imposed throughout Bengaluru including rural Districts. Police have been deployed at Bengaluru’s Town Hall area also. <br />
