Section 144 has been imposed near Red Fort in old Delhi amid the nation-wide protests against new Citizenship law. The Delhi Police barricaded roads and imposed traffic restrictions to clamp down on planned protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). <br /><br />As per Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, more than four people can't assemble in the said area.
