Camila Cabello Issues Apology<br />for Past Racist Tumblr Posts.<br />On Dec. 18, Cabello took to <br />social media to issue an <br />extensive apology to her fans. .<br />Her apology is in response to the recent unearthing<br />of her now-deleted Tumblr account from seven years<br />ago, which contained racist posts and language.<br />In her apology, Cabello said she was “deeply ashamed,”<br />as she didn’t understand the “history” and “weight”<br />of the hurtful language used when she was younger. .<br />When I was younger, I used language that I’m<br />deeply ashamed of and will regret forever. I was<br />uneducated and ignorant and once I became<br />aware of the history and the weight and the true<br />meaning behind this horrible and hurtful<br />language, I was deeply embarrassed I ever used it, Camila Cabello, via Twitter.<br />She then said she regrets it<br />“from the bottom of [her]<br />heart” and has tried to “do<br />better” since growing up. .<br />I would never intentionally hurt anyone and I<br />regret it from the bottom of my heart. As much<br />as I wish I could, I can’t go back in time and<br />change things I said in the past.
