Massive sand sculptures created for Christmas 2019 in Las Canteras Beach, Gran Canaria, Spain.<br /><br />Eight international sand sculptors from France, Belgium, Italy, Russia and the United States created an elaborate range of traditional Christmas scenes.<br /><br />The tradition was started by artist Etual Ojeda in the 1980s.<br /><br />Now, the nativity scene is the largest open-air sand sculpture in the world.
