Expelled BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was awarded life imprisonment by Delhi's Tis Hazari Court in the 2017 Unnao rape case. The court ordered Kuldeep Sengar to pay a compensation of Rs. 25 lakh to the victim. The Court also directed CBI to assess threat perception and offer the necessary protection to the victim and her family.
