#CarnivalGlory #CarnivalLegend<br />Two cruise ships have crashed into each other at the Cozumel cruise port, causing huge damage to the rear end of one of the boats.<br /><br />Footage captured the moment Carnival Glory crashed into Carnival Legend at the Mexican port.<br />One person sustained minor injuries after guests were evacuated, according to the cruise line.<br /><br />A Carnival Glory ship was attempting to dock when it hit a Carnival Legend ship in the morning hours, according to a statement from the cruise line.<br /><br />Footage captured the moment eyewitnesses on another ship captured the incident.<br /><br />In it, both rear ends of the ships drag against each other.<br />Windows were smashed and a balcony appears to have been dragged off during the collision.<br /><br />A clip, filmed by an eyewitness on Carnival Legend, captured the back of Carnival Glory seconds after the incident.<br /><br />Part of the ship's balcony was shown hanging off. As it sailed away it came dangerously close to crashing into another ship hearing the witness begin to panic.<br /><br /><br />Images have since emerged showing windows smashed.<br /><br />Civil protection authorities in Cozumel confirmed the incident took place around 8.30am local time and said officials were investigating.<br />A Carnival Corporation spokeswoman said: "Carnival Glory had an collision with Carnival Legend this morning in Cozumel.<br /><br />"Carnival Glory was manoeuvring to dock when it made contact with Carnival Legend which was already alongside.<br />"We are assessing the damage but there are no issues that impact the seaworthiness of either ship.<br /><br />"We have advised guests from both ships to enjoy their day ashore in Cozumel.<br /><br />"Since our initial assessment, six guests with minor injuries have presented themselves to the Carnival Glory medical center for evaluation."<br /><br /><br />
