In his closing speech of the Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019, Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad warned Muslim world leaders of the threat of unilateral sanctions from western powers.<br /><br />Dr Mahathir also praised Iran and Qatar, two nations represented at the event, who he said were facing economic blockades but managed to rise and progress above it.
