This was the tragic aftermath of a car accident that took the lives of two and injured another today (December 23) after an alleged drunk driver mounted a Toronto pavement.<br /><br />Footage shows emergency services attending the scene of the accident and others consoling each other.<br /><br />The vehicle is said to have mounted the sidewalk on Progress Avenue at Markham Road in the city's east end.
