They did not disclose, however, that they were calling from behind bars, John Washington, via The Intercept.
In a statement, the former N.Y.C. mayor
said he was not aware of the prison labor.
He also stated that ProCom is
no longer associated with his
presidential campaign.
The company's involvement is said
to have been requested by an
unknown campaign vendor.
We didn’t know about this and we never would have allowed it if we had. We don’t believe in this practice and we’ve now ended our relationship with the subcontractor in question, Bloomberg spokesperson
Julie Wood, via The Intercept
