Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (Abim) has called on the government of China to be transparent and uphold freedom of religion and belief for the Muslim Uighur population there.<br /><br />They also urged China to stop the persecution of the minority group and to open the alleged camps in the Xinjiang province to independent international observers.
