Locals joined forces with wildlife rangers to rescue an injured ibex which wandered into a village in Jammu and Kashmir today (December 28).<br /><br />The injured animal, which was spotted in the Baroo Chok area of Ladakh, was caught and taken for veterinary treatment in Bagh Khomeini.<br /><br />According to rangers, the animal was most likely attacked by a snow leopard.
