Spotify Halts Political <br />Ads on Its Platform.<br />The company says the temporary move <br />will go into effect early next year.<br />This will include political advertising content in our ad-supported tier and in Spotify original and <br />exclusive podcasts, Spotify, via statement.<br />Political organizations, such as <br />the RNC, are known to advertise<br />on the platform.<br />Spotify adds that the pause is due to<br />not having necessary resources to <br />responsibly review content.<br />Twitter also recently shut down political ads.<br />The crackdown is over the ads themselves becoming a source of misinformation.<br />Other major sites, including Facebook, <br />have faced criticism for allowing <br />content with fake information
